BERASATEGUI'S NETWORK (not yet in Berlin)

FOOD&WINE. Martin Berasategui, a 3 star Michelin restaurant in Lasarte (close to San Sebastian) has extended its franchise, and meals served under his name can now be found in all sort of places.
This one was in a hotel in Vitoria, served with the wines depicted in the menu. I was supposed to be concentrated on the speeches - business and politics - but I couldn't help to have 2 glasses of the Verdejo and 2 more of Luis Cañas' - a colleague now - Rioja, and doze nicely wrapped in words of what needs to be done as the way out of the surrounding crisis. I do not believe I was dreaming. Angela should have seen my angelical gaze.
Note: As a crisis recipe, it is worth noting that the strawberries were served with a sorbet made with the "leftovers" of the Cañas wine - and with a cottage cheese ice cream too, well, this one worth noting by itself. :-)

  1. Well, I do believe that it is best to have several glasses of good wine before listening to an economist or 6 (economists) - hah! Thanks for showing the menu as well as the wine listing.
